**NOTICES**
**NEW**
Hello all!  Regarding Text messages and portal messages; remember there is a 24-48h window (I am usually able to answer sooner, but there are some very busy days with 100s of texts and messages!) turnaround UNLESS you start the text with **URGENT** which I am sure all will reserve for urgent situations - ie you are very ill, have an unusual thing happen and need me to answer asap, etc.
Thanks for understanding!  And if i do NOT answer, send a reminder :)

We have a change in policy to streamline the medication refill process.

Medication refill requests (non narcotic/controlled) need to be submitted no later than Friday at noon (12pm)  to be considered for refill by Monday morning/afternoon.  Any request sent after Friday at 12pm will not likely be filled over the weekend and possibly not until Tuesday morning..

For controlled substances, requests must be made via portal and sent between Monday and Thursday with the understanding that it will be  24-48h before the refills are sent.

Submit your requests early in the week before you run out of your medicine to ensure you will have enough of your medication left at the time you request refills.

This helps all of us continue to provide you with amazing care and keeps things smooth for both patients and staff.

We appreciate your help!

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

As a final reminder, please try not to request appointments or medications via text message to the Dr unless she specifically asks you to.  Utilize texting and calling Dr. Wideman's cell phone in urgent situations which occur in the evening or weekends (ie when she's not in regular office hours).  If it can wait until the next day or Monday, then please out of courtesy try to wait until then.

If you text the doc during the hours of 8-5 M-F she is most likely with patients and cannot answer until the end of the day typically so we recommend you call us or send us a text at the office (970-400-7600).

Thanks so much!  It is a joy and a privelege to care for each and every one of you!
